Mental health is something that is becoming something that our society is becoming more aware of, yet it can still be a mystery. The medical and support services are continually doing more to understand it from a medical perspective and people are becoming aware that it is just as important as physical health, even though the signs are not as visible.

Beyond Blue plays an important part in helping with the research and improving support systems for people who find that they need help for themselves or for people around them. Helping financially can ensure that people can access services when they feel the impact of mental health, provide an advocacy for individuals and mental health across the community and to break down the stigma of mental health so people feel free to discuss it with friends, family and in the workplace without the fear of being shut out or being discriminated against.

We encourage you to donate as much as you can.

If you are stuck for a figure, why not make it the equivalent of a Neenish Tart for you and a friend $7*.

*based on a very arbitrary average cost that we made up of $3.50

Is this tax deductable?

All donations over $2 are eligible for a tax-deductible receipt. Remember, everyone who donates to your online fundraising page is automatically issued with a tax-deductible receipt. If you think your situation might be a little different and tax may or may not apply differently, see someone who knows the answer to that!
